For 2014, Smart-Tech Toys is a new theme zone reflecting the digital revolution which has taken us into the tablet era. In 2011, the mobile games market was valued at US$5.4 billion and is expected to double by 2016*, and as the industry transitions to new generation consoles, digital gaming is growing fast.
Also new is Therapy Toys and Silver Generation Toys Display. Toys that help children as well as seniors to release stress and other problems is a niche market with great potential. These include toys and games that help stimulating their senses as well as training up their cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills. Similar trend can also be seen for toys and games that are tailored to entertain seniors. Highlighted zones in 2014 include the renowned Brand Name Gallery. This gathers together, in a sophisticated environment, exhibitors of branded toys and games. In 2013, 76 exhibitors showed 122 world-class brands. For launching new products, unveiling new models, showing new collections, Brand Name Gallery is unbeatable. It is an ideal platform for buyers to source high quality branded products.
Kidult World has become one of the major attractions of the fair after its debut in 2013. It houses exhibitors offering products which are as attractive to adults as to children. These can be hobby goods, magic items, vehicles, mechanical toys and action figures and the hugely popular collectible toys and figures which appeal to all age groups.
Brand Name Gallery and Kidult World are expected to return in 2014 on an even larger scale with a wider range of products in the coming edition.
