SIAL China is China''s largest and leading international exhibition for the Food, Beverage and Hospitality trade.
SIAL China, the annual trade event for the Food & Beverage & Hospitality, returns for its 10th showing with an even stronger line-up of products and news. The biggest international event of its kind in China, and the only one to propose 50 % of the overseas exhibitors and 50 % of the national exhibitors.
In 2008, SIAL China reported a record of 27 718 visitors (an increase of 24% compared to 2007) from 85 countries coming to learn about the latest news and meet new contacts at the Chinese Marketplace. 12% of the visitors (3326 visitors) came from outside of China, mainly from Korea, Japan, Australia and South east of Asia. Among the Chinese visitors covering 32 Chinese provinces, 60.57% came from Shanghai and others from Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Taiwan.
