The Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2009 will be staged from January 12 to 15, 2009 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the fair will showcase the newest designs from mainland China and Asia arranged into special product-specific zones. These themed pavilions will include the Spice Arena, which will showcase products such as hats, shoes, scarves and handbags; Infant & Children''s Wear Zone; Garment & Accessories Mart; Fashion Gallery; Bridal & Evening Wear Zone; and Body & Intimate Wear Zone for sleepwear, swimwear and underwear.
Making its debut in 2009 is the Fabrics & Yarn zone, which will highlight fabrics such as cotton, embroidery fabrics, functional fabrics, knitted fabrics, linen, ramie, lingerie fabrics, man-made fabrics, silky fabrics and wool, as well as many types of fibres and yarns.
The HKTDC World Boutique, Hong Kong 2009 will also be held concurrently in Hall 5.
Last year, the fair presented 1,490 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions. About 23,700 buyers from all over the world came in attendance.
