GIMEE 2008 is a grand pageant in the machine tool, machinery equipment field. It has been successfully held for four sessions.
The combined exhibition area of the last four sessions amounted to as many as150,000 sqm and a combined total of 2500 exhibition domestic and foreign booths. In this session, there will be 40,000 sqm exhibition area and 2,000 booths. More than 600 enterprises of machine tool, machinery equipment and relevant supporting facilities hit the point of exhibition. Support from various authority organizations and professional buyers will enhance the commercial communication.

Pazhou Complex has replaced the Liuhua Complex to be the only host venue for the Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair) since the 104th session.
A 450m-long and 30m-wide Pearl Promenade with an 8m elevation runs east-west direction in the exhibition hall. Elevators, escalators, stairs and other 4 vertical transportation facilities enable smooth and easy transport for visitors.
Business centers, service counters, banks, customs, post offices, travel agencies, restaurants and ticket centers are set up along the Promenade.
