International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment, also known as bauma China, is the largest and most important platform for construction machinery in China. As the rapidly growing region for construction machinery, China takes over 36% of the Asia market. This figure emphasizes the potential of the industry''s most important market and, therefore, the importance of bauma China in Shanghai.
bauma China celebrated its premiere in 2002, and established itself as a key event in Asia from the very beginning. bauma is held every two years and in the last fair of 2006, more than 80,000 competent Chinese and international trade visitors came to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre to gather information about technological innovations for the construction industry and explore business.
bauma China 2008 will open its gates again for the fourth time from 25 to 28 November this year. The fair allows manufacturers to showcase their products in a professional setting, acquire new customers and make optimum use of business opportunities.
